what we do

The Midwest Association of Crime and Intelligence Analysts (MACIA) is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that was founded in 2002.  Our mission is to support the understanding, prevention, and investigation of crime, as well as to advance the field of crime and intelligence analysis within public safety in the Midwest region. We accomplish this by providing training, networking, and professional development; facilitating information sharing; and advocating for the field of analysis and its practitioners.
